Agreed on a door: surveyor turned up late.
Door arrived and fitters came: late.
Door was incorrect for the type of threshold we have. And no letterbox fitted. It was with the door but incorrect finish.
Door sent away. Another week and a half later the door came back with the right base but still the wrong letter box.
The door was fitted. Four inches back from where it should have been.
We complained, and arranged to have it refitted. Four days later they sent a guy to fit it. This was okay, but then wanted to talk about payment. Rather than offer something towards the cost, for all of the inconvenience (£100 would have done) . They insisted on the full £1300.
All through this I was having to chase for everything. I mean everything, right from the start.
All the sales manager said was he would give me a good discount if I should want more work doing by them.
Talk about adding insult.
Very disappointed with Polar Windows.

Ordered one 44mm window, when the surveyor came out he said you can't have a 44mm window we only do 28mm so I phoned the office and spoke to the manageress who clearly didn't want to speak to me and was told by her that because I only wanted one window they would only do a 28mm frame unless I wanted to do the house I explained to her that I will be doing the whole house but only as and when I can afford to do them, she responded by saying one window wasn't worth there while! I could have taken them to unfair trading and forced them to do a 44mm window as I already had a contract signed by them, but to be honest I didn't want them to do it as if they treat a customer like this when they are buying what would they be like if anything went wrong? Went to Spire Windows instead and Carl and Trish were Fantastic!
